Four Little Ladies
They came with smiles and precociousness and curiosity, these four. The little ones look up to the big ones. The big ones are eager to help the little ones. The four of them are so fortunate to have one another, and it seems like they have that figured out already, young though they are. I'm glad my camera got to bear witness to it, and don't you just love their outfits?

Purple Stripes
Little Man
Jack is about to celebrate his first birthday, and if his demeanor is indicative of his ability to celebrate, it'll be a fantastic day. This baby loves life. He laughs and smiles and makes his joy known to everyone. I love how expressive he is, and I love that that expressiveness came through in this session. I also love his super creative style of crawling. Happy birthday, Jack!

These Three
Some of My Besties
Some of the most beautiful people I know. I love that I get to continue to tell the ongoing story of their lives visually. It's hard to believe Sam and Lucy are 5. It's not hard to believe that they're growing up to be incredible kids. They are thankful, precocious, fun-loving adventurers. I'm grateful to have the whole family in my life.

Grandpa Love Looks Like...
...two little girls laughing and dancing and delighting in life. Their grandpa has cared for them when their parents go to work since they were babies. This session was breathtaking and felt magical. The love between these little ones and their grandpa makes me tear up. I think you can see the love in these photographs. It's a treasure to behold.

Betsy Boo, Round 2: With Her Crew
Family, in Black and White
This session begged for black and white processing. I loved the candid, natural interaction of the boys and the new life their new puppy has brought into the house. I loved the gentle calm their mom brings. I always love shooting in Central Massachusetts, and this family is one of the reasons I love to keep going back.

Carly and Michael are Engaged! {Raleigh Wedding Photographer}
Carly and Michael didn't mind a bit when the overcast turned to rain midway through their session. They laughed it off and kept right on sharing their story while I took photographs. They are easy to be with, low-key and real, and I'm so excited for their wedding next May. These two belong together for sure!

Introducing Zachary
A Quick Holiday Sneak Peek
A Beautiful Family in Six Frames
Real Life, Family Style
One of the things I love about clients who keep coming back is that we build some rapport with each other. These guys show up and let me do my thing and trust that the photos will show more than just what they look like. Every session reflects love and laughter, silliness and sweet. I love the ongoing story told through each session. It is real life, and it is beautiful.

Adorable Times Three!
True story: I met this family on an airplane when the triplets were a few months old. We struck up a conversation, which led to me shooting the kids' one-year photos, which led to me shooting the kids' two-year photos, which led to this session. I'm so glad it did. These three are full of energy, curiosity and fun. It's been a joy watching them grow.

Kate and John are Married! {Grapevine Wedding Photographer}
I love the beautiful simplicity of this DIY wedding. Kate and John wear their love well, and their friends and family were eager to celebrate. I love that John surprise serenaded Kate during the reception. I cried right along with everyone else. It was an honor to witness their day. So excited for these two!

Stacey and Derrick are Married! {Fort Worth Wedding Photographer}
Stacey and Derrick made an impression from the beginning, and I knew their wedding would be a blast to photograph. They love each other and life, and their friends and family were ecstatic to witness this union. They wed at Stacey's childhood church and celebrated their reception at the Fort Worth Club, a venue I love to work with. These photos look like love, joy, bliss, beauty and more to me. Such a glorious day.

Introducing Betsy Claire
My first niece, beloved from the start. I don't know what to say about these images except that I'm so thankful that I got to take these photographs. Betsy decided to come 4.5 weeks early, and though her mama and daddy felt a bit unprepared, they're doing an incredible job. Our whole family is utterly enchanted.

Stacey's Bridals
Introducing Ellie Cate!
Her mama and daddy and I got to know each other over the course of their engagement and wedding, so I was thrilled to meet little Miss Ellie at six-days-old. She captivated me with her laid back demeanor, just taking everything in. I love watching a couple expand into a family, and it was a joy to be a part of celebrating this tiny girl. And I'll get to see her in a couple of months at her fabulous auntie's wedding. Can't wait.
